FRANKFURT – (APD) Die Arbeitsgemeinschaft Christlicher Kirchen in Deutschland (ACK) hat ab 1. Juli mit der römisch-katholischen Theologin Dr. Elisabeth Dieckmann eine neue Geschäftsführerin. Sie tritt die Nachfolge von Pfarrerin Barbara Rudolph an, die als Oberkirchenrätin in die Leitung der Evangelischen Kirche im Rheinland berufen wurde. Dieckmann stammt aus Löhne/Westfalen, studierte Katholische Theologie und Anglistik in München sowie Münster und promovierte 1995 mit einer Arbeit über den evangelischen Theologen Wolfhart Pannenberg. GENF – Der Ökumenische Rat der Kirchen (ÖRK) bedauert in einer Pressemeldung die Weitergabe einer Kandidatenliste für das Amt des Generalsekretärs. Der Rat selbst habe keinerlei Namen publik gemacht und könne die Richtigkeit der Liste nicht bestätigen, erklärte der Vorsitzende des ÖRK-Zentralausschusses, Walter Altmann, in Genf. “Ecumenical News International” (ENI) hatte im Mai eine Liste mit sechs Kandidaten veröffentlicht, die für die Nachfolge von Rev. FREIBURG – (APD) Der römisch-katholische Theologe Eberhard Schockenhoff, Professor für Moraltheologie an der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg im Breisgau, befürchtet eine Schwächung des christlichen Standpunktes in ethischen gesellschaftlichen Debatten. Als Grund nannte er Kathpress zufolge am 23. April in Karlsruhe die evangelischerseits forcierte “Ökumene der Profile”. Das Beharren auf unterschiedlichen evangelischen und römisch-katholischen Ethik-Positionen und wechselseitige Sich-Abgrenzen führe zur “Marginalisierung der christlichen Stimme”, befürchtet der Theologe.
Nach Ansicht Schockenhoffs, der Mitglied im Deutschen Ethikrat ist, vertreten die beiden grossen christlichen Kirchen seit einigen Jahren in wichtigen ethischen Fragen keine gemeinsamen Positionen mehr.
