GENF – Der stellvertretende ÖRK-Generalsekretär Lemopoulos kommentiert das am Dienstag veröffentlichte Dokument der Kongregation für die Glaubenslehre: “Jede Kirche ist als Kirche katholisch und nicht einfach ein Teil davon. Jede Kirche ist katholische Kirche, aber nicht deren Ganzheit. Jede Kirche vollzieht ihre Katholizität, indem sie in Gemeinschaft mit den anderen Kirchen steht.”
Diese Erklärung der 9. Vollversammlung des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK), die im Februar 2006 in Porto Alegre (Brasilien) stattfand, ist Ausdruck der gemeinsamen Anstrengungen der Gemeinschaft von 347 ÖRK-Mitgliedskirchen, ihre Einheit in Christus sichtbar zu machen.
An diese Erklärung zu erinnern, die in dem Dokument “Berufen, die eine Kirche zu sein: Eine Einladung an die Kirchen, ihre Verpflichtung zur Suche nach Einheit zu erneuern und ihren Dialog zu vertiefen” enthalten ist, scheint angemessen zu sein im Blick auf die “Antworten auf Fragen zu einigen Aspekten bezüglich der Lehre über die Kirche”, die heute von der Kongregation der römisch-katholischen Kirche für die Glaubenslehre veröffentlicht wurden.

MÜNCHEN – Eine “undramatische Lesart” des neuen am Dienstag, 10. Juli, veröffentlichten Dokuments der Römischen Glaubenskongregation – „Antworten auf Fragen zu einigen Aspekten bezüglich der Lehre über die Kirche“ – hat der Ökumenereferent im Erzbischöflichen Ordinariat München, Ordinariatsrat Armin Wouters, empfohlen. Das Dokument erinnere erneut an die katholische Lehre über die Kirche. Es bestärke die für den ökumenischen Dialog notwendige Voraussetzung „klarer Identität“, wie sie bereits das Zweite Vatikanische Konzil in der dogmatischen Konstitution über die Kirche „Lumen gentium“ und alle entsprechenden darauf folgenden Dokumente formuliert hätten.
Das neue Dokument wie auch der dazu beigegebene offizielle Kommentar zeigten, dass die Verantwortlichen in Rom sich der ökumenischen Problematik sehr wohl bewusst seien. Es handle sich „im Fluss einer anhaltenden ökumenischen Diskussion über die Lehre von der Kirche um eine Klarstellung der Glaubenskongregation“. Als solche sei sie deutlich, könne jedoch nicht als grundsätzlich abweisend interpretiert werden. Es bleibe auch weiterhin notwendig, sich in der Ökumene darüber zu verständigen, wie die von Christus gestiftete Kirche verfasst sein muss.

(APD)/(KIPA) Papst Benedikt XVI. hat die römisch-katholische Lehrmeinung bekräftigt, dass die Kirche Christi allein in der katholische Kirche vollständig verwirklich ist. Dies geht aus dem offiziellen Kommentar zu einem vom Papst gebilligten Dokument der Glaubenskongregation hervor, das der Vatikan am 10. Juli veröffentlichte.
In dem Kommentar heisst es ferner, auch die von Rom getrennten christlichen Gemeinschaften hätten “wirklich kirchlichen Charakter” und eine “wirklich kirchliche Dimension”. Das vom Papst genehmigte Dokument trägt den Titel “Antworten auf Fragen zu einigen Aspekten bezüglich der Lehre über die Kirche”, der Kommentar wurde gleichzeitig mit dem Dokument publiziert.

OSNABRÜCK – “Meine Vision“, so lautet die Überschrift zur Werbekampagne des 97. Deutschen Katholikentags, der vom 21. – 25. Mai 2008 in Osnabrück stattfinden wird. Mit fünf Motiven präsentiert sich die Kampagne. Fünf Protagonisten, Helden des Alltags, sind zu sehen, die eine Organisation, eine Initiative oder ein Projekt gegründet haben, um die Zukunft zu gestalten.
„Nicht der, welcher Visionen hat, muss zum Arzt. Sondern der, welcher keine hat, wird Mühe haben durchs Leben zu finden“, so Prof. Dr. Hans Joachim Meyer, Präsident des Zentralkomitees der deutschen Katholiken (ZdK) bei der Pressekonferenz im Osnabrücker Theater. „Wir verbinden die Worte „Vision“ und „Visionär“ mit konkreten Projekten, welche die Gesellschaft heller und weiter machen.“ Daher wundert es nicht, dass die Kampagne keine Models zeigt, sondern authentische Menschen, wahre Geschichten aus dem kirchlichen Umfeld. LIMBURG – Bei aller Verschiedenheit von Herkunft und Sprache und der Vielfalt theologischer und liturgischer Traditionen sind Katholiken und orientalisch-orthodoxe Christen in einer „von Gott geschenkten Einheit verbunden“. Darauf hat der Limburger Diözesanadministrator Dr. Günther Geis am Freitagabend, 1. Juni, im Limburger Georgsdom hingewiesen. Beim ersten Treffen mit Vertretern der altorientalischen Kirchen, die im Bistum Limburg ihren Sitz haben, wurden am Abend im Priesterseminar Formen des künftigen Miteinanders erörtert.
Zunächst hatten sich rund 30 Vertreter altorientalischer Gemeinden, die ihren Sitz überwiegend im Rhein-Main-Gebiet haben, zu einem feierlichen Vespergottesdienst mit den katholischen Gastgebern im Limburger Dom getroffen. Bei dem traditionellen kirchlichen Abendgebet sangen die Limburger Domsingknaben im Wechsel mit den Gottesdienstbesuchern die Psalmen. Die Lesung wurde in deutscher, koptischer und aramäischer Sprache gelesen. Auch die Fürbitten und das Vaterunser trugen Vertreter aller Gemeinden in ihren Muttersprachen vor. (weiterlesen…)
