BOSSEY – Der methodistische Erzbischof Michael Kehinde Stephen aus Nigeria ist zum Vorsitzenden des Fortsetzungsausschusses für Ökumene im 21. Jahrhundert gewählt worden. Diese Gruppe hat den Auftrag, Initiativen im Rahmen der globalen Bemühungen um christliche Einheit zu ermutigen und einen Überblick herzustellen. Alle vierzehn Mitglieder bestätigten die Wahl auf der ersten Tagung des Ausschusses vom 18. bis 20. November in Bossey, Schweiz, im Konsens.
