Mich interessiert keine akademische Grundsatzdiskussion, sondern schlicht die Frage, was ist Gottes Wille. Religiöse Toleranz ist unbestritten richtig und grundgestzlich garantiert. Gespräche über den Glauben auch über Konfessiongrenzen hinweg begrüße ich sehr. Wenn ich aber meinen Glauben verwässere, nur um besser anzukommen, oder nicht als hardliner zu gelten, mach ich etwas falsch. Als gläubiger Katholik habe ich geschichtliches Verständnis für die Reformation. Meinem Glauben entspricht sie aber nicht. Natürlich kann man den Ablasshandel kritisieren. Das rechtfertigt aber nicht, fundamentale Glaubensinhalte zu ändern. Ich halte z.B. den Rosenkranz nach dem Vater Unser für eines der wichtigsten Gebete. Das sehen Protestanten ganz anders. Auch habe ich ein anderes Heiligenverständnis als Protestanten u.a. Hier gibt es keine Annäherung. Wie soll die denn auch aussehen? Ich bin kein Richter und verurteile niemanden, der einen anderen Glauben hat. Eine vermischte Religion, nur wegen der Annäherung kann es aber auch nicht sein. Was heißt eigentlich Ökumene, ganz praktisch?
