MÜNCHEN – Auf dem 2. Ökumenische Kirchentag vom 12. bis 16. Mai 2010 in München sollen strittige dogmatische Fragen benannt und angegangen werden. Doch Lösungen werden von dem Treffen kaum erwartet. Das wurde bei der konstituierende Sitzung des Gemeinsamen Präsidiums am 30. November in München deutlich. Dem 43 Personen zählenden Gremium gehört auch eine Baptistin an, nämlich Irmgard Stanullo (Nürnberg). Sie ist die Delegierte der Vereinigung Evangelischer Freikirchen (VEF). Ihr Platz im Präsidium wurde von der Arbeitsgemeinschaft christlicher Kirchen (AcK) zur Verfügung gestellt, die drei Delegierte entsenden kann. Neben Stanullo sind dies für die orthodoxen Christen der Erzpriester Konstantin Miron (Brühl) und für die kleineren kirchlichen Gemeinschaften die ACK-Geschäftsführerin Barbara Rudolph (Frankfurt am Main). Wie es hieß, soll der Ökumenische Kirchentag 2010 geprägt sein von der Liebe als Mitte des Christentums. Das Leitwort und Themen wird das Präsidium 2008 beschließen.
Im Anschluss an die Präsidiumssitzung folgte ein zweitägiger Ökumenischer Kongress zur inhaltlichen Vorbereitung. 150 Personen aus Kirche und Gesellschaft trafen sich zum Ideenaustausch. So wünschte sich etwa der bayerische Ministerpräsident Günter Beckstein weniger politische Aktionen, sondern Schwerpunkte, bei denen die Kirchen eine gemeinsame Grundhaltung haben. Die Bischöfin der Nordelbischen Kirche, Bärbel Wartenberg-Potter (Lübeck), empfahl, das Christentreffen am Thema Klimakatastrophe durchzugestalten, da dieses Thema die Bereiche Gerechtigkeit, Frieden und Bewahrung der Schöpfung gleichermaßen betrifft. Die Mitte des Kongresses bildete ein Gottesdienst. Für Irmgard Stanullo war dies ein „Zeichen dafür, dass verantwortliches Handeln seinen Ursprung und seine Kraft aus dem Glauben und dem gemeinsamen geistlichen Erleben bezieht“. Der erste Ökumenische Kirchentag fand mit rund 200.000 Teilnehmern 2003 in Berlin statt.
