MÜNCHEN – Auf dem 2. Ökumenische Kirchentag vom 12. bis 16. Mai 2010 in München sollen strittige dogmatische Fragen benannt und angegangen werden. Doch Lösungen werden von dem Treffen kaum erwartet. Das wurde bei der konstituierende Sitzung des Gemeinsamen Präsidiums am 30. November in München deutlich. Dem 43 Personen zählenden Gremium gehört auch eine Baptistin an, nämlich Irmgard Stanullo (Nürnberg). Sie ist die Delegierte der Vereinigung Evangelischer Freikirchen (VEF). Ihr Platz im Präsidium wurde von der Arbeitsgemeinschaft christlicher Kirchen (AcK) zur Verfügung gestellt, die drei Delegierte entsenden kann. Neben Stanullo sind dies für die orthodoxen Christen der Erzpriester Konstantin Miron (Brühl) und für die kleineren kirchlichen Gemeinschaften die ACK-Geschäftsführerin Barbara Rudolph (Frankfurt am Main). Wie es hieß, soll der Ökumenische Kirchentag 2010 geprägt sein von der Liebe als Mitte des Christentums. Das Leitwort und Themen wird das Präsidium 2008 beschließen.

ARNOLDSHEIN – Der „Arbeitskreis Friedenstheologie von Church and Peace und Internationaler Versöhnungsbund/Deutscher Zweig“ fordert anlässlich einer ökumenischen Konsultation in Arnoldshain, die Kirchen sollen „ohne den Schutz von Waffen solidarisch mit den Schutzlosen werden“. Damit begegnet der Arbeitskreis einem Dokument der ÖRK zur innerhalb der UN diskutierten “Schutzpflicht” gegenüber bedrohten Bevökerungen.
In dem auf seiner Vollversammlung 2006 in Porto Alegre beschlossenen Dokument des Ökumenischen Rats der Kirchen (ÖRK) wird ausführlich die Priorität der Prävention von Konfikten betont, darüber hinaus jedoch militärische Gewaltanwendung gebilligt. Kirchen sollen die internationale Gemeinschaft „aktiv zur Intervention zu humanitären Zwecken aufrufen“ (Punkt 18). Einer genuin gewaltfreien Haltung wird zwar Achtung und Respekt (Punkt 4 und 14) bekundet, angesichts der ausdrücklichen Legitimation und sogar Forderung des Einsatzes militärischer Gewalt bleibt dies jedoch folgenlos.
Aus Sorge, dass hier mit Versatzstücken der Lehre des gerechten Krieges erneut militärische Gewaltanwendung kirchlich legitimiert wird, formulierte der Arbeitskreis Friedenstheologie in Arnoldshain (16.-18.11.07) eine Stellungnahme. Darin wird der behaupteten militärischen „Schutzpflicht“ die Bereitschaft „für Christus zu leiden“ gegenübergestellt. Hier die Stellungnahme im Wortlaut.
