BAAR – Eine zweite Dialogrunde zwischen Mitgliedern des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK) und verschiedener Pfingstkirchen hat letzte Woche in Baar in der Schweiz begonnen. Eine Gruppe von siebzehn evangelischen, orthodoxen und pfingstkirchlich orientierten Christen/innen kam zusammen, um die Arbeit fortzuführen, die die erste Gemeinsame Beratungsgruppe des ÖRK und der Pfingstkirchen in der Zeit von 2000 bis 2005 geleistet hatte.
In seiner Reflexion über die Bedeutung dieses Treffens erklärte Cecil M. Robeck Jr., Professor für Kirchengeschichte und Ökumene im Fuller Theological Seminary, der die Pfingstkirchen auch dieses Mal als Ko-Vorsitzender der Gruppe vertritt, dass “dieses Treffen uns einen sehr guten Start in unsere gemeinsame Arbeit der nächsten fünf Jahre ermöglicht hat”.
