TRIER – Mit interreligiösen Projekten hat sich der Bundeskongress der „Gemeinschaft Katholischer Männer und Frauen im Bund Neudeutschland (KMF im ND) während des „Tages der ethischen, politischen und sozialen Perspektiven” 12. April in Trier beschäftigt. Rund 850 Delegierte des katholischen Akademikerverbandes machten sich in der Trierer Europahalle mit interreligiösen Projekten wie der „gläsernen Moschee von Mannheim”, dem „Wunder von Marxloh”, dem „Trialog an Schulen” oder „Weißt du, wer ich bin?” vertraut. Nach Angaben des Verbandes sollen so Ansprüche und Wirklichkeit eines „gelingenden Zusammenlebens in der Gesellschaft” deutlich werden.
„Dialogarbeit ist keine Arbeit, die man in vier Wänden abhaken kann”, machte Bekir al Boga, Zweiter Imam der Mannheimer Yavuz-Sultan-Selim-Moschee und Dialogbeauftragter der türkisch-islamischen Union der Anstalt für Religion e.V. (DITIB), deutlich.
Am Beispiel der Mannheimer Moschee machte er die Schwierigkeiten und Chancen von Integrationsarbeit deutlich. „Es war kein Kuscheldialog”, beschrieb er den Prozess. Viele Anwohner seien dagegen gewesen, dass in ihrem Stadtteil eine Moschee gebaut werden sollte. „Am Ende haben wir die Anwohner überzeugt, dass es den Integrationsprozess fördert”, sagte al Boga. Während der Einweihung 1995 seien dann „mehrere Tausend” Gäste gekommen, darunter auch sehr viele Deutsche und Christen. „Die Muslime haben dann versprochen, ein offenes Haus zu bauen”, sagte al Boga. Dies sei bis heute so. „Die Bürger haben ein Recht und einen Anspruch darauf, zu wissen, was hinter den verschlossenen Türen der Moschee geschieht, jederzeit, auch während des Gebets”, machte er deutlich. Als Ergebnis dieses Prozesses sei Mannheim heute vorbildlich bei der Integrations- und Dialogarbeit. „Inzwischen wirbt die Stadt auf internationaler Ebene damit, dass dort Kirche, Synagoge und Moschee in einem Dreieck nahe beieinander stehen”, sagte al Boga.
Trotz dieses Prozesses gebe es noch große Probleme bei der Integration. „Viele Imame können noch kein Deutsch”, sprach der Vertreter der DITIB eines der Probleme an. Das sei auf Dauer nicht tolerierbar. „Wir haben da viel Zeit versäumt”, meinte er selbstkritisch. „Unsere Imame müssen deutsch können”, sagte al Boga, alles andere sei „ein großes Hindernis bei der Integration”. Sein Verband arbeite aber derzeit „sehr heftig daran”, all seinen islamischen Geistlichen Deutsch beizubringen. „In 20 Jahren werden unsere Predigten auf deutsch gehalten werden”, zeigte er sich überzeugt und wies auf seine Predigt während des Katholikentages in Saarbrücken hin, die er zu drei Viertel auf Deutsch gehalten habe. Deutlich distanzierte sich al Boga vom Kölner Kalifatsstaat des Metin Kaplan oder einem wahabitisch geprägten Islam, wie er in Saudi-Arabien gelehrt werde. „Das sind die großen Schandflecken, für die ich mich geschämt habe, solange sie da waren”, machte al Boga deutlich.
Der KMF ist mit bundesweit rund 5.500 Mitgliedern einer der größten Akademikerverbände. Ziel des 1919 ursprünglich als „Schülerverein Neudeutschland” gegründeten Verbandes ist die christlich motivierte Mitgestaltung der Gesellschaft.
