BONN / HANNOVER – Der Besuch von Festgottesdiensten zu Ostern, dem wichtigsten Fest der Christenheit, ist für viele Menschen selbstverständlich, egal ob sie die Ostertage zu Hause verbringen oder auf Reisen sind. Doch wie erfahren Interessierte, wo und wann welche Heilige Messe und welcher Gottesdienst gefeiert wird? Ein ökumenisches Angebot der Evangelischen Kirche in Deutschland (EKD) und der Katholischen Kirche bietet Hilfe beim Finden der passenden Termine.
Unter www.ostergottesdienste.de gibt es umfangreiche Informationen zu den Gottesdiensten zwischen dem 5. April (Gründonnerstag) und dem 9. April (Ostermontag).
Für die Suche geben die Internetnutzerinnen und -nutzer einfach den Namen der Gemeinde oder eine Postleitzahl ein und erhalten so einen Überblick über die zahlreichen Angebote. In den verschiedenen gottesdienstlichen Feiern der österlichen Tage Gründonnerstag, Karfreitag und Ostern werden Passion, Tod und Auferstehung Jesu Christi begangen. So erinnern beispielsweise in vielen Gemeinden am Gründonnerstag besondere Gottesdienste an das letzte Mahl Jesu mit seinen Jüngern und an die Einsetzung der Eucharistie. Am Karfreitag, dem Todestag Jesu Christi, wird der Kreuzweg gebetet und in Gottesdiensten des Leidens und des Sterbens Jesu gedacht. In der Nacht von Karsamstag auf Ostersonntag wird dann in festlichen Gottesdiensten die Auferstehung Jesu und die Erlösung der Menschheit gefeiert. Vielerorts finden in der Osternacht auch Taufen statt, da Ostern in der alten Kirche der bevorzugte Tauftag war.
Hinter dem Serviceangebot stehen die Internetarbeit der EKD, die Deutsche Bischofskonferenz und die Redaktion von www.katholisch.de. Dass ein solches Angebot auf große Resonanz trifft, zeigte der Weihnachtsservice im vergangenen Jahr. Die Seite www.weihnachtsgottesdienste.de verzeichnete rund 190.000 Suchanfragen zu den Gottesdiensten, die über 9000 Kirchengemeinden eingestellt hatten.
